Neoga Days is heading “Back to The Wild, Wild West” for this year’s celebration June 13-15.
Committee members have worked to tie the wild West theme to the activities and events scheduled for the festival and are pleased to announce the weekend will include several performances by World Champion Western Gunslinger Johnny Hotshot, Armed & Hilarious performing trick gunplay, whip cracking and trick roping with a wit as fast as his draw.
World Champion performer Hotshot Johnny Tuscadero will present his one-man Wild West extravaganza with more than 50 gun ticks, bull whip stunts and fancy target shooting. Hotshot is one of the fastest guns you will ever see and has a wit to match.
The committee is also finalizing plans for additional Neoga Days activities many have come to expect at the celebration, like the Miss Neoga Pageant, parade, kiddie tractor pull, bags tournaments, BINGO and Minute-to-Win-It competitions. A tractor drive is scheduled for Friday, June 14th.
Neoga is located on Route 45 and right off Interstate 57 at exit 177.
We are nestled between Effingham to the south and Mattoon to the north.
